Body
Background:
In the process of updating the Park Land Dedication Ordinance, the City approached the school districts to see if they would like to update the school site dedication ordinance as well. The school districts requested that their portion of the ordinance remain the same. To honor that request, the City has removed all park land language from the school site dedication ordinance in order to bifurcate the two ordinances. Additional, the school site dedication ordinance is being placed in a newly created part of the City Code. There are no substantive changes to the school site dedication requirements
Should the Council adopt the new Park Land Dedication Ordinance, this ordinance is required to bifurcate the park land dedication requirements from the school site dedication requirements.
Financial Implications:
None of the school site dedication ordinance figures have changed in this ordinance.
