Summary:
Pursuant to the requirements of Article 1, Chapter 5, Part 1, Section 113 of the Code of the City of Colorado Springs 2001, as amended, governing the conduct of a Municipal Mail Ballot Election, the City Clerk submits the April 6, 2021 General Municipal Election Mail Ballot Plan for City Council approval.
Background:
Pursuant to the requirements of Article 1, Chapter 5, Part 1, Section 113 of the Code of the City of Colorado Springs 2001, as amended, governing the conduct of a Municipal Mail Ballot Election, the City Clerk submits the April 6, 2021 General Municipal Election Mail Ballot Plan for City Council approval.
Previous Council Action:
City Council approved a similar mail ballot plan in 2018.
Financial Implications:
The proposed 2021 City Budget includes $350,000 for election expenses.
