Summary:
Rock Creek Metropolitan District (RCMD) is requesting regional wastewater service from Colorado Springs Utilities. Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking City Council approval of resolutions authorizing its Chief Executive Officer to execute a regional Wastewater Service Agreement with RCMD.
Background:
RCMD's service area is located south of the City. RCMD is requesting regional wastewater service from Colorado Springs Utilities through a special contract with a twenty-five (25) year term to collect and treat up to 0.103 million gallons per day from RCMD's service. Regional contracts for wastewater service require prior approval from City Council as a condition of receiving service.

Financial Implications:
Based on 2022 Tariffs, Colorado Springs Utilities would collect approximately $150,000 per year at build out under both agreements.
