Body
The Unified Development Code (UDC) requires a review of park land dedication requirements and household dwelling data once every four years.
Upon review of the most recent American Community Survey five-year estimates from the US Census Bureau, there have been slight changes of average household size by unit type, which impacts the park land dedication requirements by unit type. The proposed amendment updates the land dedication acreage required by unit type, reflected in Unified Development Code (UDC) Subsection 7.4.307.D Tables 7.4.3-B and 7.4.3-C. Five decimal places are proposed in the acreage required, to provide consistency between the acreage and calculation of fees in lieu.
