Body
Summary:
The 2024 Community Satisfaction Survey presentation will highlight resident satisfaction with core City services and identify key areas of importance for strategic investment. The City will use this feedback as baseline data to guide yearly Strategic Doing Action, ensuring alignment with the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan. The forthcoming survey results will serve as evidence for ongoing improvements, helping prioritize strategic initiatives and inform budgetary priorities that meet community needs and optimize resources.
Background:
In the summer of 2024 ETC Institute administered a community survey on behalf of the City of Colorado Springs. The purpose of the survey was to establish a baseline of resident responses (data) focused on the following:
1. Resident satisfaction with a variety of City Services which are integral to the City's current Strategic Priorities. These will be measured annually, to help quantify the city's successes and challenges achieved in meeting the City's stated mission, strategic priorities, and service delivery over time.
Post-survey analysis provides a baseline of responses to these questions that glean valuable insights by zip code, neighborhood, gender, ethnicity, and other demographic factors. The results are statistically significant and can be trusted to be representative of the City's population.
The survey questions were organized to collect the following information:
1. Satisfaction with a full range of city services (which on analysis, responses can be organized by strategic priority).
2. Demographic information to be used in data analysis
