PROJECT SUMMARY:

1. Project Description: The project includes an application for a Report of Acceptability for the construction of a patio wall along the West Espanola Street frontage of the home at 1729 Wood Avenue. The proposed patio wall will be 5-feet tall and is to be constructed with stone similar to the rock used around the front porch. City Planning staff determined that the application submittal was incomplete, as the provided site plan was deemed insufficient and elevation drawings/details were not provided to describe the proposed wall. The Applicant attempted to secure the requested information prior to the meeting but was not able to do so.

2. Applicant's Project Statement: At this time, the Applicant has requested to withdraw the application. (see "Withdrawal Letter" attachment)

3. Planning and Development Team's Recommendation: City Planning staff is unable to make a recommendation at this time, as the Applicant's submittal has been deemed to be incomplete. This item will be scheduled for a subsequent hearing at such time that the Applicant provides the necessary documents and plans to thoroughly review and make a recommendation.

STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
The public notification process consisted of providing notice to surrounding homeowners association and adjacent property owners within 150 feet of the site, which included the mailing of postcards to 16 property owners, prior to the Historic Preservation Board hearing. The site was not posted during the public notice period, as the Applicant failed to obtain the post the property according to City Code.
