William Gray, Senior Planner, introduced Kevin Walker as the new  
Planning Director. Mr. Walker introduced himself and gave a brief history  
of his background in planning.

Motion by Board Member Fitzsimmons, seconded by Board Member Hines, to  
approve the minutes for the October 7, 2024, Historic Preservation Board Meeting  
The motion passed by a vote of 6-0-1.

9.A. 2025 Historic Preservation Board Work Plan  
William Gray, Senior Planner, presented ideas for the 2025 Historic  
Preservation Board Work Plan. Mr. Gray outlined nine topics of discussion  
for the board to review. The board provided various ideas on how to  
communicate with the public, identify places in the city that may be  
considered historic and workshop topics to discuss from December to  
February. Mr. Gray said he would like to have a proposal for the workplan  
presented in December.

Annual Ethics Training  
Presenter Young Shin, Associate Attorney  
Young Shin, City Attorney Office, presented the Annual Ethics Training to  
the board. Mr. Shin spoke on ethics topics that included gifts, open  
meetings law and conflicts of interest.
