A public hearing will be conducted for City Council to consider proposed changes to Colorado Springs Utilities' Natural Gas, Electric, Water and Wastewater Rate Schedules as reflected in the 2021 Rate Case filing to be effective January 1, 2021
Background:
On September 22, 2020 Colorado Springs Utilities filed the 2021 Rate Case, including resolutions and all supporting documentation, that proposed changes to Natural Gas, Electric, Water and Wastewater Rate Schedules to be effective January 1, 2021.
In accordance with the City Code of the City of Colorado Springs ? 12.1.108, copies of the rate filing were available for public inspection in the City Clerk office beginning on September 22, 2020. Notice of the proposed changes was provided by publication in The Gazette on September 25, 2020. The 2021 Rate Case filing was also posted on the Colorado Springs Utilities' website at www.csu.org, and electronic copies were provided to City Council members.

On September 22, 2020 City Council approved the proposed public hearing date of
November 10, 2020 for the consideration of resolutions setting Natural Gas and Electric Rates within the Service Areas of Colorado Springs Utilities, Certain Changes to Natural Gas and Electric Rate Schedules, and Water and Wastewater Rates.
