Summary:
The City Attorney's Office-Utilities Division will present a draft decision and order and draft resolution for the 2019 Wastewater rate case based upon the October 23, 2018 public hearing held for Colorado Springs Utilities' September 11, 2018 rate case filing. City Council will review the documents and may direct any changes to be made to the documents prior to their final submission for approval at the November 13, 2018 Regular Meeting.

City Council held a public hearing on October 23, 2018 regarding Colorado Springs Utilities' September 11, 2018 rate case filing.
Background:
On September 11, 2018 Colorado Springs Utilities submitted a 2019 rate case filing that included proposed changes to the Wastewater Rate Schedules effective January 1, 2019. In accordance with Colorado Springs City Code ? 12.1.108, City Council held a public hearing on October 23, 2018 regarding Colorado Springs Utilities' 2019 Wastewater rate case.
The draft decision and order summarizes Colorado Springs Utilities' 2019 rate filing and the record of the public hearing held on October 23, 2018. The draft decision and order also contains City Council's initial directions at that public hearing regarding the 2019 Wastewater rate case. The draft resolution for the Wastewater rate case is also presented for review and comment by City Council. Any revisions to the draft decision and order or to the draft resolution directed by City Council will be incorporated into the final decision and order and final resolution presented for approval by City Council on November 13, 2018.
