Recommendation of the Civil Action Investigation Committee:  authorize the City to represent Fire Inspectors McClarin and Nieves, Officer Vargason, and Fire Marshal Lacey as required by the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act and, with respect to Officer Vargason, the Peace Officer’s Liability Act.  As usual, it is recommended that the City reserve the right not to pay any award of punitive damages.
