Body
Summary:
During 2016, as part of the citywide “code scrub” effort to review City Code for necessary updates, members of City Council and representatives of the executive branch convened working committee to review the provisions of Chapter 1 (Administration) and certain provisions of other chapters that are administrative in nature. As a result of that review, the group recommends a number of changes to certain administrative provisions of City Code.
This ordinance amends Section 1.2.102 of Chapter 1 to strike provisions relating to the authority for the Chief of Staff, City Attorney, City Clerk, Chief Financial Officer, City Auditor and City Council Administrator to retain assistants, with certain provisions relating to the Office of the City Attorney proposed to be moved to other sections.
